Kaspar Beelan (Research Associate) demonstrates how he’s using the Mitchell’s press directories in his research on the bias of newspapers.  These directories were published annually and were designed to give advertisers an overview of the newspapers of the day.

Katherine McDonough (Senior Research Associate) and Kasra Hosseini (Research Data Scientist) talk about using maps as data and how they are a rich source of information for the project, and how they can be used in non-traditional ways using computer vision.
