Previously I’ve worked for Television and educational online publishing companies, building relationships with content providers and negotiating use of copyright material and music broadcast licences.

In one sentence, what is your role on the project?
As rights assurance manager, my role is to ensure the team complies with copyright law and use legal exceptions in a way that prevents infringement of copyright.

What excites you about the project?
Learning about using data at scale and how the team can use this scale to come up with new research methods that inspire the academic community.

What challenges do you see ahead?
Acquiring data at scale and navigating the complex copyright issues…

What’s the last (non work) book you read, exhibition or performance you saw?
I’m constantly looking at silver-smithing books being a keen jewellery designer. The last performance I saw was a Fleetwood Mac tribute band!
